Most people don’t give a lot of thought to the trim around their interior doors and windows. However, with a little work you can trim out those structures and give them their own unique look. Arranging simple trim pieces like 1 x 4s, 1 x 6s, and door stops can give your windows a custom look. In the following example the majority of cuts with simple straight cuts, and the trim was pre-primed pine. Naturally, I’ll paint the primed wood after all of the home’s windows have been customized.
