Cathedral ceilings are spectacular and can add an open feeling to the right room. However, they can be difficult to paint.
Initially, I used my Graco air/airless sprayer with a gun extension and then backrolled to paint the ceiling. A paint sprayer is fast to use and gives an even coat. In addition, it is possible to spray without a ladder. Unfortunately, a sprayer isn’t very precise. Today, I set up scaffolding and tackled ceiling areas that required a precision touch.
By using a combination approach I was able to do the job with both speed and precision.
