Sometimes simple jobs are complicated. A customer needed a kitchen exhaust vent, which I installed. The vent exited through the home’s vinyl siding, and there is where the problem occurred. It is important to secure the vent with a mounting block. However, there was a problem. Despite living in a metropolitan area with many supply houses, none carried one. Why? I can’t say as this is not an unusual item. Thankfully, Amazon came to the rescue. It arrived the day after I ordered it. Thanks Amazon. See photos below.
