Installing a range hood is fairly straightforward, but it does require some muscle. I’ll walk you through the steps, but you will need two or three pairs of hands for the final mounting. See photos below.

Here you can see the electrical wiring which is both 120 volts and a low-voltage wire for the make up air system. Fans that are greater than 399 CFF require a make up air system.
We added a small extension of ductwork so that the exhaust on the hood lined up with the exhaust duct.
Here my HVAC technician is wiring up the hood. The notch was needed as my electrician brought the electrical low and it needed to be raised with the final install.
Mounting the hood was a three person job.
Installation complete. Now on to the next job!
