I am doing an extensive rebuild of a fire damaged home in Naperville.  One of the biggest problems has been to eliminate the smell of smoke.  The house was gutted and all charred parts were removed.  I also used a professional odor elimination fog (Odor X/Thermo 55). These efforts have dramatically reduced the sell of burnt wood in the house.  However, a reduction is not an elimination.

As a final step, I sprayed a clear sealing barrier on all framing members and interior sheeting.  The smell of smoke is completely gone.

I used a clear barrier instead of a pigmented one so as to leave no trace of fire restoration.

It takes more work to do the job right.  But I want my homeowner to enjoy his new space without any smoke odor.

If you have any remodeling or reconstruction needs, please call me for a free estimate.
