One useful item to have when installing a new a new shower is a shower shelf. No more bending down as everything is within easy rich when you have a shower shelf or two. Normally, it is necessary to cut out an area of tile to do this, a skill beyond many DIYers. However, a second method is available, and all you need is a corner with right angles. See the photos below for more information.

Here you can see a premade shower shelf. Note the drain hole in the middle.
This is the silicone that I used to adhere the shelf to the walls. Once set it is very sturdy.
This shower will have two shelves. Perfect for soap, shampoo, a razor, or whatever else you need for your shower.
I marked off the area and built some temporary supports using scrap lumber. Using blue tape makes it easy to remove. After 24 hours the silicon is set.
