A customer contracted me to remodel most of their first floor. This project included replacing their old stair railing with one more consistent with the remodel’s new style. Replacing a railing is normally a multi-step job, and this time it included an extra step (pun intended).
The old first step was rounded and not consistent with their new look. After removal of the old railing I fabricated a fix. See the photos below for details.
