Laundry rooms are typically forgotten rooms despite their utility. It is often easier to close the door. However, they are important and essentials parts of any home as they not only serve a necessary function, they also provide incredible convenience.Everyone has dirty laundry.
A customer noticed that their laundry room floor’s tiles were coming up and wanted to replace the floor. On inspection it was clear that there was significant water damage to the subfloor, which also needed repair. I shared some ideas with the customer and we did some additional work, including: changing out the old and stained sink with a hanging one (providing more space underneath), painting the room, and adding a laundry room box that included a drain as her old setup drained the washer directly into the washtub. We also added a newer and much brighter ceiling light to make the washing experience a little bit nicer.
