When it is cold outside it can be impossible to paint exterior siding. You can have siding pre-painted, but it is very expensive.  I have an excellent Graco air/airless paint sprayer and I am using it to paint the siding for a remodel that I’m working on.

Unfortunately, the weather has turned, and it is too cold for the paint to dry, as it would freeze instead.  The solution is to temporarily heat the garage where I’m doing the spraying.  In this case, I’m using a Coleman portable propane heater.  These heaters work great, but they can produce carbon monoxide.  The first picture shows that the propane tank is located far away from the heater.  I also made sure that there was adequate ventilation to the outside. Safety first, and my siding installer will have the material he needs the next workday.

If you have any remodeling or reconstruction needs, please feel free to give me a call.
