Instant Hot Water, Part II

In my last post I illustrated a circulating system to provide residential instant hot water. I thought I would give you a close up view of a water heater with this set up. See the photos below for more details and descriptions.

The pump recirculates the hot water. It has a timer so will run only during demand times. The ball valves allow the pump to be isolated if it needs to be changed or serviced. The directional valve prevents back flow.
